DAIMLER TRUCKS PRESENTS CONCEPT FOR ELECTRIC TRUCK

Daimler Trucks is presenting its concept for an electric truck at IAA Commercial Vehicles, where the vehicle is having its world premiere. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC), which is part of Daimler Trucks, is presenting the Fuso Canter E-CELL with battery-electric drive in Hanover from September 21 to 30.

In standard form the Porsche 997 turbo produces 500PS (368KW) 650NM. The RENM Porsche 997 Turbo RM580 is modified to produce 580 PS (426kw) and 650 Nm of maximum torque.The increased output is achieved by re-calibrating the ECU parameters, fitting a performance exhaust system, full carbon fibre pressure pipe, air intake and sports air filters.


DTM OSCHERSLEBEN: DI RESTA ON POLE

Paul Di Resta (AMG Mercedes C-Class) will start Sunday's eighth round of the 2010 DTM at Oschersleben from pole position. In the single-lap qualifying of the four fastest drivers, he set a time of 1m21.394 and edged out Bruno Spengler (Mercedes-Benz Bank AMG C-Class) who was second fastest with a 1m21.555.
