UAW says it opposes drinking, smoking pot 'on the job'

The United Auto Workers union, which represents the Chrysler workers exposed Thursday partying it up in a public park during their 11 a.m. lunch break in Detroit, say they oppose the use of drugs or alcohol "on the job."

The federal government would have to sell its General Motors stock for $133.78 a share -- or $40 more a share than the highest stock price the automaker ever achieved for its old stock -- in order for taxpayers to get back the money they sank into the automaker, a federal watchdog says.

A local Detroit TV station caught dozens of Chrysler auto workers drinking alcohol and smoking what appear to be joints during their shifts at the automaker's Jefferson North auto plant in Detroit.
